Hamstring flared up with nerve pain radiating down the leg
Have held off on PT a few days to see if it would go away and it hasn’t
My reply
With significant nerve pain, we typically look for a movement preference to assess which movements cause pain and typically opposite movements are less painful
If sitting, bending, coughing, going to the bathroom tend to make it worse, then # 5.1 and 37 should be helpful
If sitting actually makes it better and standing or leaning back is more painful, then #5.1 and #16 may be more helpful
I have included below a little self test sequence to try to establish some pattern to what you are feeling
Most often these symptoms are coming from the low back and when it goes all the way down the leg, where your low back meets your sacrum is typically the cuplprit (L5-S1)
For a couple days try the following, then email me and let me know what you find
