MW: Neck Pain with Radicular Pain following median and ulnar nerve distribution: In office patient (1-15-19)

  • Daily Program: Go through the sequence below as a circuit
    • Lying on your back shoulder ER with breathing
      • 8-15 reps slowly
    • Supine Cervical Rotation
      • The video below shows use of a pillowcase to help facilitate rotation
      • Your rotation looked good, but this is a safe position to maintain that mobility
      • Keep your head propped up in that flexed position
      • 8-15 reps each side
    • Supine Pullover
      • This can be done daily, but you don’t want to fatigue your arms each day, so one day you may just hold a towel or pillowcase to go through the motion without resistance, the next day use the weight and try for 8-15 reps slow
    • Band Pull Apart
      • 8-20 slow reps with this one
  • Throughout the day
    • We discussed a light nod/chin tuck but very light, more of a self traction…if there is any pain with this don’t do it
      • 5-10 reps
    • Arms up the wall drill
      • Hold the position for 30-60sec trying to breathe as I describe in the video
